Martin O. Eng moved to Elk River in 1996 after graduating from the Chiropractic College of Life University (Marietta, GA). Soon after, he established Lighthouse Chiropractic Health Center where he has been caring for patients for 20 years. Dr. Eng specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of problems that affect the alignment of the muscles and bones of the body. He uses a variety of techniques to adjust the spinal column.
Dr. Eng is the father of nine children and believes that good spinal health care begins with proper nutrition, exercise and regular chiropractic adjustments. His goal is to help people regain their health through natural means. He also works with other doctors who specialize in different areas so that all patients receive the best possible care.
Dr. Susan L. Herda received her Doctorate of Chiropractic degree from Life University in 2002 and has been a practicing doctor ever since. She is certified through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association in pediatric and pregnancy care. Dr. Susan does manual adjustments but also utilizes the activator and drop-table methods to treat her patients. She has owned and co-owned chiropractic practices and has vast experience in pain management and patient care. Dr. Susan resides in Waconia with her husband Mike and daughter Jayden.
Dr. Carlson (Wil) Thwing studied chiropractic care at Life University and graduated in 2015. He is originally from the Elk River area but has lived in Texas for the past few years. Throughout high school, he was a patient of Dr. Eng. Dr. Wil is interested in weight lifting and body building, and has experience with sports training and nutrition. He does manual adjustments and uses the activator method as well. For fun, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and motorcycle riding.
